What is the disadvantage of outbound tourism?

Outbound tourism, or travelling abroad for leisure, has become increasingly popular in recent years. However, it is important to recognize the potential disadvantages of outbound tourism. These include environmental damage due to a large number of tourists, cultural homogenization due to contact with foreign cultures, and economic damage to the host country as money is taken out of the local economy. Additionally, outbound tourism can lead to the exploitation of local people, as well as increased inequality, as those with more money are the ones that are able to travel. Finally, outbound tourism can also lead to over-tourism in certain areas, resulting in overcrowding and disruption to the local environment.
